Graduated from Moscow State University, psychology department. Dr.Strakhov received his psychoanalytical education in European School of Psychoanalysis.
Since 2002 he routinely works on probe in psychiatric institutions of France and Belgium. In 2004 Dr.Strakhov became a member of the European School of Psychoanalysis and a member of the World Psychoanalitical Association. He also is an active member and a founder of Russian subdivision of International Psychoanalytical Association called “Freudian Field” (Champ Freudien).
He also teaches introduction to psychoanalysis at the Moscow State Psychologic-Pedagogical University and Rhenn University in France, and he also appears to be a coordinator of international cooperation project of Moscow State Psychologic-Pedagogical University and Ren-2 University (Ren, France).
Dr. Strakhov consults both adults and children.
He speaks French and Russian languages.
